We have established a comprehensive Environmental Management System (ISO 14001:2015). This enables us to operate in accordance with UK environmental legislation but that’s not enough! Our aim is to be carbon neutral by 2024 and we are well on our way! We are a FSC certified printer using FSC papers and vegetable based inks plus we offer our customers the option to offset the carbon on their orders via the World Land Trust. Over the last 15 years environmental impact has been a factor in every decision we make; from the choice of company vehicles, manufacturing equipment and the goods and material used. This has led to many improvements including installing a Power Perfecter (2010), switching every light to LED (2022) and installing a 200kWh solar system (2023). This year we are also installing a new energy efficient heating system and we will be researching battery storage to utilise our solar generated power. As soon as we are carbon neutral our next aim will to be carbon positive!
