Looking for a career change? Pollards Print has recently won new contracts in servicing the print requirements for two major clients. We are looking to recruit an Account Executive to provide additional administrative support within our Client Services Team. This will include customer service and order raising using our Management Information System. Full training will be provided, however it is expected you will have a customer service background. Any experience of working within a print environment such as a print shop would be an advantage but not essential.

Position: Account Executive

Responsible to: Client Services Account Director
Responsible for: No direct responsibility for staff

Main purpose:
To provide full administrative support within our customer service team. Full training will be provided in the use of Pollards Management Information System (MIS).

Job responsibilities:
Serve as main point of contact for customers to ensure that work is delivered to the agreed schedule, price and to the customer’s satisfaction.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
To use the MIS (Primo) accurately, maintaining all records in an up to-date and proper manner in accordance with stated procedures.
Taking customer orders via telephone and email, and processing their associated activities.
The preparation and management of job instructions for pricing, print and delivery.
Clearly communicate the progress of jobs to both clients and internal departments.
Ensuring accuracy, attention to detail of instructions and liaising with production departments.
Handling high volume of emails that must have timely responses.
Dealing with telephone enquiries and requests for information relating to orders.
Understanding of Pollards online solutions and their application, training will be given.
Other general administrative tasks as and when required.

The candidate must possess the following:
Customer service experience, telephone and in person.
Excellent interpersonal skills to develop strong relationships with customers, colleagues and other stakeholders.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and other commonly-used office packages.
Ability to perform well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Must be organised and capable of managing deadline driven workloads.
A flexible, proactive approach with a good problem solving mindset.
A genuine desire to go the extra mile in pursuit of customer service excellence.

Working hours 36.25 per week
Starting salary circa £16,000 to £19,000 depending on experience.

Print and Solutions Salesman

We are looking for a motivated print salesman who can focus on target markets and develop strong relationships with existing and new customers.

We produce a diverse range of printed products from Digital, Sheet Fed Litho and Wide Format. We also have a full-service Design agency and an in-house Direct Mail facility. Additionally, we have developed market leading online systems for the management of brand and print requirements.

The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of selling B2 and B3 sheet fed litho and digital along with the ability to sell our online solutions to blue chip clients. They should also have an active client base selling to blue chip end users, agencies, print management companies.

Direct Mail and Creative sales experience would also be an advantage.

You will need to be able to work under your own initiative as well as part of our existing sales team.

We offer a competitive basic salary based on experience, uncapped commission, quarterly bonuses, company car and pension.
